How much is jet ski rental in Abu Dhabi?
Our jet ski rentals start from AED 300 for 30 minutes and AED 450 for 1 hour. Guided tours start from AED 1,600 for a 2-hour Island Hopping or Sunset tour. All prices include safety equipment, life jackets, and a full briefing before you hit the water.
Is jet skiing safe in Abu Dhabi?
Absolutely. Safety is our number one priority. All our watercraft are agency-maintained, regularly inspected, and equipped to the highest standards. Every rider receives a personal safety briefing before entering the water. Captain Sam is a certified jet ski safety instructor licensed by UAE marine authorities. Life jackets are provided and mandatory for all riders.
Do I need a licence to ride a jet ski in Abu Dhabi?
No personal licence is required for customers. Captain Sam’s operates under a fully licensed marine operator permit. You must be at least 16 years old to drive and 14 years old to ride as a passenger. All riders receive a safety briefing before heading out.
Can complete beginners ride jet skis?
Yes! Captain Sam’s is perfect for first-timers. Every beginner receives a personal hands-on lesson covering safety, controls, starting, stopping, and turning before going out on the open water. Captain Sam is a certified instructor who will ensure you feel confident and safe. We love introducing new riders to the sport!

What are your opening hours?
We’re open 7 days a week, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We operate year-round including public holidays. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during peak season (October to April).
What is the best time of year for jet skiing in Abu Dhabi?
The ideal season runs October through April, when temperatures are a pleasant 20–30°C and sea conditions are perfect. We operate year-round, and in summer we recommend early morning slots to beat the midday heat. The water is always warm and the views are always stunning.
Do you offer dolphin watching tours?
Dolphins are regularly spotted on our jet ski tours — particularly on the Around Abu Dhabi and Island Hopping tours. While sightings are never guaranteed (they’re wild dolphins!), many of our guests have had truly magical encounters. It’s one of the highlights that keeps people coming back.
What should I bring?
Bring a towel, sunscreen, and your original passport or UAE ID (required for all riders). Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting wet — or bring a change of clothes. Showers and changing rooms are available on-site. Life jackets are provided by us.
